Read Lab on pages 21-23 in your textbook (Investigation II -Lesson 2 in Alchemy) Titled "Now You See it" and fill in the table I passed out (if you lost it, you can draw one out, its in your book) with the main steps in the procedure. You must be able to answer questions about your lab before you may begin on monday!

Also, color code your periodic tables with the following and make a key:
Main group, Transition Metals, Inner-Transition Metals, Metals, Non-metals, Semi-Metals (metalloids), Alkali Metals, Alkaline Earth Metals, Halogens, Noble Gases, S-Block, P-Block, D-Block, F-Block, Lanthanides, Actinides.

Test Thursday on everything we've done so far!
I collected the lab from the Density of the Penny, if you haven't handed it in yet, get it to me ASAP!
HW study for the test. Quiz ws on all the calculations we've learned. Show your work. It will be graded as a homework assignment but do your best so you can gauge what you know for the test. We will go over it tomorrow, so come with questions.

Anyone who hasn't brought in their lab notebook, binder, or lab safety sheet yet must bring it in tomorrow.

Reminder we will be doing a lab tomorrow (we have a double period, so come ready to think).
Reminder #2, any late homework we haven't gone over in class can be turned in late, but you lose 10% per day.
Reminder #3, study for your periodic table quiz (Sept. 22) and work on your periodic table elements.

This project will be due on October 1st and will be worth 50 points towards your projects/test grades.
